The National Automatic Sprinkler Industry Trust Funds provide pension and health care benefits to about 20,000
active and retired sprinkler fitters and their families. Sprinkler Fitters install, repair and maintain fire sprinkler
systems in industrial, commercial and residential buildings to protect lives and property. These participants are
members of the 16 straight-line Sprinkler Local Unions of the United Association. Participating sprinkler fitters
work for over 700 sprinkler contractors, many of which are members of the National Fire Sprinkler Association.
NEW! The NASI Personal Health Management Program
The Trustees have just rolled out a new benefit for NASI Welfare Fund
participants with chronic conditions (like asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure and COPD). The NASI
Personal Health Management Program is a phone-counseling program that helps
individuals at high-risk manage their symptoms and quality of life. If you’re identified as someone who could
benefit from this Program, you will be called by a
representative from Carewise Health, the Program’s administrator, to talk
to you about enrolling. If you are contacted, we strongly encourage you to take the call and enroll in this important Program.
The NASI Personal Health Management Program is voluntary, free, and confidential. If you have any
questions about the new program, refer to our list of
Frequently Asked Questions or contact the Fund Office at 800 638-2603 or call Carewise Health
directly at 866-691-8433.
