Small Cap Stocks

The term “Cap” is short of “capitalization” and refers to the value of a company which can be calculated as the share price times the number of shares the company has in the market.  Small Cap Stocks refer to the stocks of the companies with market capitalization generally in the range of $200 million to $2 billion, although these numbers are a moving target.
